Axis Construction was initially retained on an emergency basis to respond to deteriorating, spalling concrete throughout the existing parking structure. Axis, working with the Structural Engineer, responded by safing off and stabilizing all failing conditions in an effort to allow for the completion of the contract documents for the permanent corrective repair.

Axis, acting as the Construction Manager, oversaw the complete restoration of the parking facility over a period of 6 months. Scope of work included structural concrete and steel repairs, façade repairs and restoration, new roadway drain installations, epoxy waterproofing membrane installation on all decks, asphalt paving, safety guardrail replacements and install of new wheel stops.
