Fire Alarm System Replacement
Forest Hills Hospital – North Shore LIJ Health System/ Forest Hills, NY

 

Replacement of the entire Hospital’s existing Pyrosignal fire alarm system. Project included extensive re-wiring and device installation throughout the hospital facility. Scope of work included installation of new horns/strobes, heat and smoke detectors, smoke dampers, panel upgrades, flow and tamper switches and various end devices (tank monitoring level controls, magnetic hold open devices, etc).

Axis was responsible for overall project management including filing and inspections with FDNY, as well as coordination with Hospital Administration, Departmental Heads, Nurse Managers and Engineering to allow the multi-phased project to proceed with minimal disruptions to the facility.
